Is Facebook Necessary for Business Growth? BEST 3 Ways to Use It!

A Phone open to Facebook
Facebook Social Media

Facebook is THE biggest social media platform in the universe (that we currently know about haha) with a staggering 3 billion + active monthly users.

You pretty much NEED have your business active on Facebook in order to grow your business. Plus, social media

CAN be fun if used wisely & efficiently. There are a ton of ways to use it to grow your business but I'm going to outline what I feel are the BEST 3 ways to use it to allow your business to flourish and grow.

Targeted Facebook Ads Campaigns:

You don't necessarily need to build community, groups or network to grow your business on Facebook (although I do think there are a ton of benefits to doing this) You could instead set-up your simple business page and run some very affordable Facebook Targeted Ads.

You can spend very little or you can spend a ton depending on what your goals are. But regardless, you can get a lot of targeted exposure and grow your business page quite quickly using this method.

I think building community, groups and networking alongside Targeted Facebook Ads is the way to go and my clients have had a lot of success with this method.

You'll want to experiment with running multiple targeted ads to test out a few and see what conversions you get. You'll have access to your Page Insights and Analytics so you always know what's working and what is NOT working. Have fun with it.

Post High Quality Content & Engage With Your Audience:

I would strongly suggest leaving the advertising for your Targeted Ads and using your Facebook Business Page for content and engagement.

Let your current and potential customers know about who you are and what your business is about. This is where you highlight and interact with your community.

Social Media when used correctly can grow your business BIG TIME. but if you just use to as a place to do traditional advertising (you know, the call or text 234^&(&^&^% if you want X or more information on X) you most likely won't see many inquiries.

You have to know and understand what your audience/target market wants. Then give them what they want. IF you do this, you will grow your business.

You don't need to be on Facebook every moment interacting or engaging. Depending on your business, posting and engaging a couple times a week may be perfect. It depends on your business goals and who your target market is. Facebook business growth can happen in an organic way.

Utilize Facebook Groups for Community Building:

There are groups and communities for everything under the sun on Facebook.

There are Interior Design groups with over a million people in them.

Any subject or topic you can think of has a group. Find ones that are in harmony with your business goals.

Engage, interact, be helpful - remember, everything you do on a social media platform can be seen by the public so always think about your brand image and what you want to convey before posting.

Also, telling your story is a great way to catch the attention of potential clients that may be aligned with the service you are offering. You just never know who you may impact by being authentic and open.

Business usage on social media should be intentional and thoughtful. Imagine everyone online could potentially turn into a customer.

Most importantly, have fun - social media marketing doesn't have to be time consuming or stressful.

If you're too busy running your business to fiddle around on the social media you can always hire a good social media management company to run it for you 😇
